1) DreamHost&#039;s terms of service used to prohibit offsite backups, but now they allow 50GB for offsite backup, not the full 500GB. They can charge you for exceeding that amount.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2) I got the impression from other internet sources that rsync to DreamHost did not support the -e option, which means that files that use the Mac resource fork aren&#039;t backed up properly.
